Material honesty in every course

The Brick House is a study in the poetry of ordinary material. Exposed brick — that most ancient and democratic of building materials — is elevated here into something extraordinary through careful coursing, precise joint work, and a massing that catches light differently at every hour of the Gujarat day.

The design breaks from the smooth, rendered facades that dominate Gandhidham's streetscape. Instead, the raw texture of the brick wall is allowed to speak, its warm umber tones shifting from terracotta in morning sun to deep amber at dusk.

Inside, the same material language continues — exposed brick feature walls, concrete soffits, and warm timber floors create interiors that feel both contemporary and deeply rooted in place.
